Citlalli Garcia, BAP

Citlalli was born and raised in Reno, Nevada. As a first-generation Mexican-American, she embraces both cultures and values time spent with her family. She has a BA in Psychology from the University of Nevada, Reno. Currently, Citlalli is on the path to earning her MA in Social Work, aspiring to support neurodivergent individuals in the local community. She has worked previously with the Washoe County School District supporting students with disabilities with an emphasis on empowerment and inclusivity. Currently, she is interning at the JUSTin Hope Foundation assisting neurodivergent individuals with finding employment by maximizing their potential and network within their community.

 

Citlalli plans to gain further understanding of clinical therapy as she works towards becoming a therapist. Her goals are to help foster a community that offers more resources for individuals with disabilities. Along with her commitment to inclusivity and accessibility, Citlalli also aims to provide bilingual services to ensure that language is not a barrier to receiving the support individuals need.
