Citlalli was born and raised in Reno, Nevada. As a proud first-generation Mexican-American, she embraces both her heritage and her community, and deeply values the importance of family, connection, and culture.
 

Citlalli is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW). She sees individual clients and facilitates groups at Facilitate Joy! She holds an IBCCES Autism Certificate and earned her BA in Psychology from the University of Nevada, Reno. She also earned an undergraduate degree at Truckee Meadows Community College. 
 

She was drawn to the field of social work by a deep desire to provide bilingual, culturally responsive therapy. Growing up navigating multiple systems of care as the daughter of immigrants, Citlalli saw firsthand the gaps in mental health services for Spanish-speaking and marginalized populations.
 

Her professional background includes supporting students with disabilities in the Washoe County School District and interning at the JUSTin Hope Foundation, where she assisted neurodivergent individuals in finding meaningful employment through a strength-based approach. 
 

Citlalli remains deeply committed to inclusive, affirming care, especially for neurodivergent and bilingual communities. Outside of her professional work, Citlalli enjoys spending quality time with her family, exploring local coffee shops, reading, and practicing pilates as a way to recharge and stay grounded.

Citlalli nació y creció en Reno, Nevada. Como orgullosa Mexicana-Estadounidense de primera generación, valora profundamente la importancia de la familia, la conexión y la cultura.
 

Es trabajadora social con maestría y cuenta con licencia profesional (LMSW, por sus siglas en inglés). Atiende a clientes de manera individual y también facilita grupos en Facilitate Joy!. Posee un certificado en autismo otorgado por IBCCES, obtuvo un titulo  en Psicología en la Universidad de Nevada, Reno, y también completó un título universitario en Truckee Meadows Community College.
 

Su vocación por el trabajo social nace del deseo de ofrecer terapia bilingüe. Al crecer navegando múltiples sistemas como hija de inmigrantes, Citlalli fue testigo de las barreras en el acceso a los servicios de salud mental para la comunidad Latina y otros grupos marginados.
 

Su experiencia profesional incluye el apoyo a estudiantes con discapacidades en el Distrito Escolar del Condado de Washoe, así como su participación, como parte de su formación profesional, en la Fundación JUSTin Hope, donde ayudó a personas neurodivergentes a encontrar empleo significativo mediante enfoques basados en fortalezas. 
 

Citlalli mantiene un firme compromiso con una atención inclusiva y afirmativa, especialmente para comunidades neurodivergentes y bilingües. Fuera del ámbitambiente profesional, disfruta pasar tiempo con su familia, leer y practicar pilates.
