Citlalli Garcia, BAP, AC

Citlalli was born and raised in Reno, Nevada. As a first-generation Mexican-American, she embraces both cultures and values time spent with her family.

 

Citlalli is currently completing her MA in Social Work while running multiple groups and seeing indvidual clients with Facilitate Joy!. She holds an IBCCES Autism Certificate and a BA in Psychology from the University of Nevada, Reno.

 

Previously, Citlalli supported students with disabilities at the Washoe County School District.  She also interned at the JUSTin Hope Foundation assisting neurodivergent individuals with finding employment with an emphasis on empowerment and maximizing their strengths.

As Citlalli works towards deepening her understanding of clinical therapy and her goal of becoming a licensed therapist, she is also focusing on learning more about how to best support the neurodivergent community. Her goals including helping to foster a community that offers more resources for individuals with disabilities. Along with her commitment to inclusivity and accessibility, Citlalli aims to provide bilingual services to ensure that language is not a barrier to receiving the support individuals need.
