Kyle Weiss

Kyle has been dedicated to neurodivergent and mental health advocacy for over five years, with a particular focus on supporting the Autistic and LGBTQIA+ communities. He is passionate about fostering connection, building inclusive communities, and sharing his experiences to mentor and support others who may benefit from peer guidance.

He has worked as a Grant Manager and Facilitator at TMCC, where he developed LGBTQIA+ focused educational programs, workshops, and outreach initiatives. These efforts provided best practices and guidance to Nevada System of Higher Education campuses, social work organizations, nonprofits, and other institutions across the state.

​

Kyle also serves as a co-facilitator for the Autistic Caucus hosted by the LGBTQ Task Force during their nationally recognized Creating Change conference. Additionally, he contributes articles to Russell Lehmann’s global Autism advocacy platform and has been featured in interviews for WhiteFlag's peer-support app, USA Today during Autism Awareness Month, and MyHana alongside Russell Lehmann.

He holds certifications in Mental Health First Aid from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing and crisis intervention training through LivingWorks Start programs. Identifying as Queer and autistic, Kyle brings a unique perspective to his work while maintaining a deep interest in culinary arts, food history, music, and sound theory. He also enjoys caring for Rollie, his Australian blue-tongue lizard companion of 20 years.
